Parting the Red Sea [Solved]
Hi, I'm having a problem with the Dagobah water. When the "Water Quality" in options is set to anything lower than "Medium" (specifically low) the water is bright red. But when it is >= Medium it displays normally. How can I fix this?

Make the texture something that's not red.

His texture isn't the problem.Tourny wrote:But when it is >= Medium it displays normally. How can I fix this?

Yes, it is. Medium or higher water settings are predominantly composed of normal and specular map effects - with the correct settings the actual water texture is irrelevant. On low water settings the water defaults to basically only the actual texture.RogueKnight wrote:His texture isn't the problem.
P.S. Look at Dagobah's default water texture (BF2_ModTools\assets\worlds\DAG\effects\PC).

All you need to do is swap it with a texture from another map; BF2 Kashyyyk will probably be fine with only minor changes.Tourny wrote:O.O No, Mav is right... Dag1_water is bright red...
The modtools aren't the exact set of assets used for the game - for the most part they are the same, but there are tiny bits and pieces either missing or different.
