if you dont have the full version of 3d object converter, use repsharpshooters meshtool, however it merges all modelparts including shadowvolume and lowrez. to seperate them, import into xsi, select all edges of the model, right click, choose "weld boundary points/edges" and set the distance/tolerance to 0,001, then you can use the polygon island selection to select the chunks and extract them with right click> extract polygons (delete).

Whoops, yeah.
Forgot about the register-to-save thing for the converter.

Just figured out about the converter...Thanks Darth D.U.C.K!
EDIT
import into xsi, select all edges of the model, right click, choose "weld boundary points/edges" and set the distance/tolerance to 0,001, then you can use the polygon island selection to select the chunks and extract them with right click> extract polygons (delete).
Hmm...when I right click i don't see "Weld boundary points/edges": Help please.

The best conversion method:
.msh > Unwrap 3D > .obj > XSI

The best free conversion method:
.msh > SWBFViewer > .wrl > AccuTrans 3D(trustware) > .obj > XSI
I recommend Accutrans if you don't want to fiddle around with Blender, its lightweight and easy to use.

SWBFViewer doesn't read cloth geometry so you'll need to use MeshTool beta 4 to get that.

When using Ultimate Unwrap 3D to convert msh files into formats that XSI can import there are variations in the export method depending on the msh and what you want to get from it, for example:
.dae for geometry, UVs, bones, weights, hardpoints etc
.obj for geometry with UVs

EDIT
The new best free method of getting a msh into XSI is to use Mod Tool 7.5 with ZETools
