I agree, really good update.
Just a suggestion but maybe make the entrance to the cave a similar color texture to the cliff face or visa versa, as it looks slightly misplaced.

I like the change to the planet. I've never had a problem with the stock skydome model, but it's always nice to see a bit of extra creativity. As for the problem of the clouds being behind the planet...there isn't any real way to 'fix' it - you'll jut have to make a new sky texture that doesn't have any clouds in that area.

I've always thought the stock texture looked more like a Red Giant star rather than a gas giant. Nice work with the change!

why not make some beasty cloud models and animate them in xsi to move since the flyers are immobile?

I agree with those above that the new planet is a definite improvement over the stock one.

I agree, another great update. The scenery is looking really good, and I like the small touches to the map, like the lilipads. So creative.

i never thought i would see wuher in another map...
you should make the alphachannel stronger around the edges of the grass to get rid of the greyish border
i dunno, the groundtexturecolor still looks a bit weird to me but anyway..do you plant to put some forestish-"foliage" around the plateau?
