Well, here ya go. There might be some error, since im not 100% on the place of each part of the skin realted to the mesh... BUT.. i did what i could
If there's anythign wrong show me and i'll try to change it, or you can edit it yourself.
Thanks, but some things are wrong, 1 must be a blank part in the orange part of the helmet. 2 the original clones uses the ep2 body 3 there are no orange in the arms, just in shoulder, legs, helmet etc...
But your skin is GREAT, I will put in game tomorrow to you see if you want. Thanks!
I was working on adapting this skin that I found in the "Secret Mod Pictures Archive". The 501st clone, clone commander, and jet trooper (all SWBF II style ) are somewhere in there.
I was removing the blue markings from the clone, but stopped because I wanted wait 'til mod tools came out. Feel free to cut and paste from this guy onto your own... give minimalistic credit to me or whatever.
EDIT: I am pretty sure that this wouldn't work as a Stormtrooper mesh's texture (haven't tried though), so that is why I say "cut and paste".
See, that's quality there. You can spray on a new layer... it keeps the same 'roughness' because you paint it on a new layer, then merge the two and it blends the blue rather than paints over it.
Jabba, the #2, you use the stormtrooper arms, legs, body, this is wrong, the ep3 clones use the ep2 body, arm legs, etc
and the arm thing: you put an orage part in his arms, his arms ARE white.
Look, I'm not trying to knock, you. Like I said, it's quality because it uses layers. If you have Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, you create a new layer and literally paint over the orginal skin like normal, but when you blend, you blend with some transparency, that way it looks like Pandemic's stuff. It has the color, but you still see the armor's detail below. Think of the original skin as a piece of paper and the second layer as clear paper that you color in and put on top of the paper.
You are a talented skinner, Assassin. I apologize if it came out sharp. I suppose I should've explained what I was trying to get across better.
No, you don´t need to apologize, i´m just saying the skin is good cause the producer made it, I know I´m not a GOOD skinner, but I think I now understand what you are saying!, so it´s better I use layers in my skins?
off-topic: teancun 2 questions: 1 you made that jedi interceptor in Harrun kal jungle? 2 where I can get the new version of this map?
Hey Dragonum sent me some BF2 skins yesturday and i've been working on the trooper, changing it to normal white, it's basically done cept for the head:
