Re: Ubermode units
I know for sure you can have less than 200. I once did 150 units per side and it worked fine.

Re: Ubermode units
All uber mode means is that you have greater than 32 units on each side which is the max units you can get in BF2 without using Ubermode the upper limit though I'm not sure probably depends on how much solider animation /all the other memory pools the game can handle which i believe is pretty high

Re: Ubermode units
If I remember right there are a maximum of 200 units in the game at any time per team, so that probably wouldn't work. You also have a maximum of 2000 reinforcements.ryukaji wrote:K good, but can you go higher like 150 on one side, 300 on the other?
I should warn you ahead of time that going that high often makes your map not any fun to play. There are a lot of great maps that would be played a lot more if it didn't take over an hour to finish a round.

Yeah the game doesnt last too long with normal reinforcements and units, so im raising it. And its not one of those that are ridiculous and take long to play a round. Im thinking around 1000 reinforces

Re: Ubermode units
That's still 30-40 minutes of gameplay. That's sortof long for one map - but that's just my opinion.

Re: Ubermode units
Keep in mind that an evenly matched stock map online with 36 human players plus computers takes up the half hour time limit with plenty of its 540 original reinforcements left. Also, even though it's uber mode, the units lost in a time is not exactly directly proportional to the amount of units on a field, especially when they're all AI.
