IGN.com reviewed it and said it was for the die-hard fans who want to see their monsters in 3-D. Very bare and IGN hopes Super Mario Strikers Charges will do better. Online was a little rough.
Also Wiiware. Sounds very exciting. @ Nintendo.com/community they were saying you first had to buy the Nintendo license then the SDK ($2000 around there) to develope a game for the Wii. Yeah if that's so I'd rather use XNA and pay only $100. Also i heard Wiiware was to compete with XNA. Kind of hard with that price tag.

Even if you don't have Diamond or Pearl, get Battle Revolution, it was worth it.
But a must-have game would have to be the new Transformers game. You can read the reviews about how bad it is for the Wii, but after playing both 360 and Wii versions the Wii impressed me more. The missions are actually challenging, and the "Free Modes" are building-smashingly, helicopter-blowingupingly, nuclear-tank-explodingly good
Just get used to the camera being controlled by moving the Wiimote and you'll be fine

Really? All the reviews I read said it was bad. Hmmm. I do like randomly destroying bulidings. Hmmm. Okay, i'll get it.
By the way: Has anyone here played Mario party 8? I was wondering because Game Informer said it wasn't too good, but they have made mistakes before, is this one of them or were they right?

Personally, I think that if you've got 4 people playing, it's a blast. But it's one of those games where if you're not playing 4 player, then it sucks
@Fusion - Yeah, I was thinking about getting Transformers.
@Moving_Target - Really? Hm. Well, I'll prolly rent it and see if I like it. Oh, and what's WiiWare?

I guess it depends if whether Wiiware is strictly for the Wii games (Not N6, Super Nintendo, etc. Also I think it depends on the option given to us. Would we really want every single Wii game to use a Wiimote? Would we have access to 3D and 2D games? Will we be able to legally mod games like Twilight Princess? These questions can determine if Wiiware is worth it or not. Also, when XNA came out for the first time, how much was it?Moving_Target wrote:IGN.com reviewed it and said it was for the die-hard fans who want to see their monsters in 3-D.
