YouTube isnt working

Whenever I go to youtube from a link or just to the site and try to play a vid, it plays for 5 seconds and then the vid disappears. the page stays and so does everything else, but the vid just poof. i cant fugure it out

do you still hear sound? Are you sure its not just buffering the next segment?

nope no sound. nothing. it plays for 5 secs and then stops the whole vid. but thats the only thing that goes away

EDIT: the sound works now theres just no pic

Sometimes some vids dont support the screen capacity. Go click the button on the bottom right panel.

well try letting it buffer and load the whole thing then play it.

Also, do you have any firewalls or filters that could be preventing it from working?

I have my computer in a near firewall-lockdown state; nothing goes unless I say so.

That is why I ask if you have programs running that could prevent it. (if nothing else works, you may want to consider reseting your browser settings, this sometimes works)
