MMO stands for "Massively Multiplayer Online" and MMO games are not just WoW (World of Warcraft) kinda games they can be MMOFPS (Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter), MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game), MMORTS (Massively Multiplayer Online Real Time Strategy) etc. Basically MMO stands for any Multiplayer game but not Single Player and Multiplayer games (e.g. Star Wars: Battlefront II). Examples of MMO games: Combat Arms, 4Story, Dream LordsTrackMania: Nations Forever. And those three games are also free MMO games.
