Republic Commando the inside of the dirty and bloody Clone Wars. What you are about to read is the last thing you will ever need to read about the game. Enjoy
REPUBLIC COMMANDO
THE SQUAD
RC-1138,BOSS, OR 38
Boss, along with his commando brethren, received heightened independence and greater initiative than standard clones. On Kamino, Boss was separated from his clone brethren to train in a special class, where he developed into a strong and capable leader.
The Kaminoan cloners ensured Boss was allowed to develop extra intelligence and a capacity for tactical thinking, in addition to the ability to coordinate and work alongside a four-clone commando unit. Boss was personally trained by Mandalorian Sergeant Walon Vau; and while his squad-mates developed varying accents speech patterns, Boss inherited the accent and speech patterns distinctive to regular clone troopers, Concord Dawn natives, and Jango Fett himself.
Boss took command of Delta Squad in the opening stages of the Battle of Geonosis. During the battle the squad was instrumental in ensuring victory for the Republic, by eliminating Geonosian lieutenant Sun Fac, and disabling an underground jamming device. As the battle died down, Boss led Delta Squad on a daring raid inside a Trade Federation core ship.
After victory was assured on Geonosis, the Deltas were deployed across the Galaxy. Boss and his commandos became veterans of many engagements. In the final stages of the war, Boss led the Deltas into combat on Kashyyyk, first to rescue the Wookiee commander Tarfful and eventually helping to repel the Separatist invasion of Kachirho.
RC-1140, 40 OR FIXER
RC-1140, or Delta-40, was an elite clone commando in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Although he hated the use of nickames, he was known as Fixer to the other commandos in his squad, because of his talent for fixing all things mechanical.
While his fellow squad memebers had developed different personalites, Fixer was a gruff, by-the-book clone. He appeared to have more in common with the standard, obedient clone troopers than the independent-minded commandos. Fixer was often the one urging his squad onwards during a mission, although he rarely socialized with his fellow commandos outside of battle. Unlike his squad-mates, Fixer didn’t appear to enjoy the heat of battle.
During training on Kamino, Fixer became a favorite student of the class's instructor, borderline sociopath Walon Vau. The two both shared a common obsession with weapons, tech and tactics. After completing his training Fixer was assigned second-in-command of Delta Squad. In the group, he became the unit's resident technology expert. When the Deltas were deployed in battle, Fixer typically took care of computer-slicing, code-breaking and other similar technological needs. Fixer was notorious for being particularly lethal with the retractable melee blade integrated into his green-striped Katarn-class armor.
Fixer's first mission with Delta Squad was on Geonosis. During the Battle of Geonosis the Deltas were given the task of eliminating Sun Fac and destroying a hidden jamming device. The Geonosian tech was no match for Fixer's slicing skills, and with his help, the Deltas were able to complete their mission, and later in the battle infiltrate a landed core ship. Fixer remained with Delta Squad throughout the Clone Wars, until their final mission on Kashyyyk.
RC-1207, 07 OR SEV
RC-1207, or Delta-07, was a clone commando in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. He was referred to as Sev by his squad-mates.
Sev started life as one of the many clone commandos grown to serve the Republic during the Clone Wars. However, Sev was hardly an average clone. Sev developed a grim sense of humor, which manifests itself even in the thick of combat. Sev was something of a loner, and rarely spoke unless it was necessary. His dark mind made him perfectly suited for the role of sniper—Sev is at his best when sighting an enemy in the scope of his DC-17m sniper rifle. Like his fellow clone commandos, Sev wore the distinctive Katarn body armor, though his suit had grim, blood-red streaks painted across it. However, his squad mates wondered if these disturbing markings were actually paint at all.
Regardless of how Sev developed his unique personality, it certainly aided the Deltas greatly when their covert operations turned into all-out warfare. During the Battle of Geonosis, Sev downed the escaping Sun Fac's starfighter with a single sniper shot.
Towards the end of the Clone Wars, Delta Squad was assigned to Kashyyyk, where Sev and his squad-mates helped defend the bridge of Kachirho from droid invasion forces during the Second Battle of Kashyyyk. While attempting to down a Commerce Guild destroyer in the skies above the vast tree-city,
RC-1262,62 OR SCORCH
RC-1262, or Delta-62, was a clone commando in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Among the commandos of Delta Squad he was referred to as Scorch.
Six-Two earned the nickname "Scorch" after an ordnance accident during training that left him and Sergeant Walon Vau without eyebrows for a short time. Scorch was one of the most individual clone troopers in the Republic forces. He had an over-developed sense of irony, and was the resident wiseguy of Delta Squad.
Scorch had a love for heavy weapons, and favored the powerful anti-armour attachment of the standard-issue DC-17m weapons system. Scorch carried a large ordnance pack strapped to his back and sported yellow markings on his wrist gauntlets, making him easier to be identified by his squad-mates. During their first mission on Geonosis, it was Scorch's skills that allowed the Deltas to blast through the enemy fortifications, weapon installations, advanced assault units and just about anything else that stood in their way.
Scorch and his Delta squad-mates quickly became veteran soldiers in the Clone Wars. At the end of the war, Delta Squad was sent to Kashyyyk, where Scorch fought alongside his brethren against Separatist forces in the battle for Kachirho during the Battle of Kashyyyk.
These are your squadmates. They are best of the best and will follow your every order. Do not let them down. Besides your squad you will have other clone troopers and sometimes wookiees on your side.
THE ENEMIES
over the coarse of the game you will fight 12 different and unique enemies. they are all dangerous.
BATTLE DROID

The internal software and hardware is based on standard components, however, its outer armor shell and plating are much improved. Droideka
Droidekas are heavy duty war machines with shield capability. The shield protects them from various energy weapons including standard blaster fire. They wield a formidable set of heavy blaster weapons integrated into the twin armatures that serve as their arms. Not as powerful as portrayed in the movies or in BF 1 & 2, they are a formidable defence.
Manufacturer: Colicoid Manufacturing
Weapons: Droideka Twin Blaster
Weak Against- EMP gernades AA atachment
Advanced Dwarf Spider Droid (A-DSD)
Built for heavy combat engagements over uneven terrain, the Advanced Dwarf Spider Droid boasts heavy armor plating and multiple weapons systems. Larger and more destructive than the standard dwarf spider droid, the A-DSD is able to launch dual target seeking missiles once a target has been acquired through its advanced targeting system. It can also deploy a super high energy bolt that carries a frightening destruction radius and explosive power. This thing can take alot of punishment but if you keep moving around it you wont get hurt at all.
Manufacturer: Commerce Guild Manufacturers
Weapons: A-DSD Cannon, A-DSD Twin Missiles
Weak Against- AA atachment wookiee rocket launcher.
Geonosian Warrior
The first line of defense, Geonosian Warriors pose a threat for intruders. Their flight abilities give them air superiority while their brutal Force Pikes deal immense amounts of damage. One of their favorite strategies is to swarm an intruder with multiple attacks, rendering enemies confused and vulnerable. Same as the battledroid, melee them.
Weapon: Geonosian Warrior Force Pike
Weak Against-most weapons
Geonosian Elite
The Geonosian Elite are the fiercest warriors in their caste. They wield a unique weapon which uses bioenergetic fluids tapped directly from the Elite Warrior’s arms. The fusion of warrior and weapon yields an extremely deadly foe. They don't lie abut it being deadly watch for the beam and take cover!
Weapon: Geonosian Elite Beam Weapon
Weak against- sniper atachment, AA atachment.
Geonosian Drone
Drones are relatively helpless members of the worker class, whose sole task is to serve the ruling caste. They are hatched in separate chambers throughout the underground colony, always separate from the caves of the higher castes. Although small and wingless, drones can be quite dangerous in numbers to intruders. They can spit highly-toxic substances through their mouths and possess formidable sets of claw. Small and only a pest, they can, however, be a threat in numbers.
Weak Against-All weapons
Trandoshan Slavers
Only the strongest Trandoshans become Wookiee slavers. These fierce creatures show no mercy or compassion. They carry a variety of weapons and wield them with skill and ferocity. If you get to close they will take out their knives and can deal alot of damage. They are ment to be close range enemies so kill them from afar.
Weapons: Accelerated Charged Particle Array Gun, Slaver Blades, Thermal Detonator
Weak Against- All weapons
Trandoshan Mercenaries
The Trandoshan Mercenaries are brutal and violent fighters. They can go claw-to-toe with the best Republic clone troopers. They are well-versed in tactical maneuvers, open field operations, and close-quarters combat. These Mercenaries favor guerilla warfare techniques and will ambush their enemies at any opportunity. Trandoshan Mercenaries carry a variety of devastating weaponry, and it is said that many of them sleep with one eye open and one arm on their rifle.
Weapons: Accelerated Charged Particle Array Gun, LJ-50 Concussion Rifle, Thermal Detonator
Weak Against- Most weapons.
Trandoshan Heavy Assault Mercenary
The largest and strongest of all Trandoshan Mercenaries sign up for heavy weapons duty, relishing the bragging rights that accompany the biggest hand-held weapon in the Republic. Not only are they able to carry this huge weapon, but they can also lunge with the rifle's bayonet, or simply stand and apply sustained fire with no sign of fatigue. Definetly the most dangerous enemy you will encounter, they can kill you in 10 seconds flat. Be very careful.
Weapon: LS-150 Heavy Accelerated Charged Particle Repeater Gun
Weak Against- Explosives
Grievous' IG-100 Series MagnaGuard
As General Grievous' personal guards, these droids possess exceptional offensive power and strong defensive capabilities. They are equipped with an electrostaff melee weapon that can deal a tremendous amount of damage against unshielded aggressors. They also have twin guided missiles launched from internal magazines on their back plating. The MagnaGuards also have the ability to jump and seemingly fly long distances, making them very difficult targets to destroy. Alot like trando heavy mercs, these can be tough to take down and are the only real "bosses" in the game. You fight them only twice on Kasssykk.
Manufacturer: MagnaGuard Manufacturing
Weapons: MagnaGuard Electrostaff,MagnaGuard Twin Missiles
Weak Against-Explosives
VEHICLES
Sorry but their are no useable vehciles in the game. Although you will see some Republic ships, and CIS ships.
DROID DESPENSER'S
These things are a Diet Dr. Pepper to take down. They are large crate like objects that spew out an unlimited supply of battle droids, SBD's or Destoyer's. Take it out with a det pack.
TURRETS
These are found few and far between in the game and are quite powerful.

TRANDOSHAN MMLT
The Trandoshan MMLT is a missile launch system that can deliver rocket propelled munitions with exploding warheads. The MMLT is capable of delivering eight missiles in under five seconds. However, there is a cool-down period between launch bursts.

Accelerated Charged Particle Repeater Gun
Specially manufactured by Arakyd Industries, the ACP Repeater Gun is the standard weapon of the Trandoshan Mercenary group. Used for medium to short distance engagements, it can cut through personal shields, but is not especially effective against droids. This gun sucks against every enemy in the game. Do not use it at all!!!

The ferocious BlasTech LJ-50 Concussion Rifle is a heavy field weapon used in medium to long distance engagements. It utilizes a concussive energy charge that implodes on impact and creates an area of destruction in a 500 unit radius. It's okay but I wouldn't recommend it. Not really very good.

Trandoshan Repeater
The Araykd LS-150 Heavy ACP Repeater Gun is a large, air-cooled repeater, with disintegrating plasma case cartridges. This thing kicks Diet Dr. Pepper. Use it against trandos.

Wookiee Bowcaster
The Bowcaster is the standard weapon of the Wookiee militia. Wookiee crafters individually manufacture each Bowcaster and no two Bowcasters are exactly alike. However, ammunition clips are all uniform and interchangeable between different Bowcasters. A scope on the Bowcaster allows it to be a sniper gun that features a disintegrating, energy-sheathed, physical bolt that can impale targets at great distances. Three rounds are necessary to enable this impaler bolt. Nice replacement for sniper. Rember to charge it up.

DC-15s SIDE ARM BLASTER
The BlasTech DC-15s Side Arm Blaster is the Republic Commando's standard issue secondary sidearm weapon. Used for close quarter combat situations or when conserving ammo is needed.
The Self-Charging Dynamic Energy Cell keeps the DC-15s constantly recharged at a slow but steady rate.
Manufacturer: BlasTech Industries
Ammunition Type: Charged plasma bolts, activated by Tibanna gas.
Recharge Rate: 7 Rounds/sec.
Clip Count: N/A
Range: 1000
Area Effect: None
Rating-10
Accelerated Charged Particle Repeater Gun
Specially manufactured by Arakyd Industries, the ACP Repeater Gun is the standard weapon of the Trandoshan Mercenary group. Used for medium to short distance engagements, it can cut through personal shields, but is not especially effective against droids. This gun sucks against every enemy in the game. Do not use it at all!!!
Manufacturer: Arakyd Industries
Ammunition Type: Accelerated Particle Charge
Ammo Count: 40
Clip Count: 6
Range: 2000
Rating-0
ACP Array Gun
The ACP Array Gun is a close-quarters weapon, used when range is not an issue but extreme blast force is non-negotiable. With a robust blast spread, each particle charge in each shell is equivalent to a single bolt from the ACP Repeater Gun. Shotgun basiclly.
Ammunition Type: Accelerated Particle Charge Shell
Ammo Count: 8 x 8 Particle Charges per shot
Clip Count: 4
Range: 1500
Effective Blast Range 800
Area Effect: Blast Radius
Rating-8
LJ-50 Concussion Rifle
The ferocious BlasTech LJ-50 Concussion Rifle is a heavy field weapon used in medium to long distance engagements. It utilizes a concussive energy charge that implodes on impact and creates an area of destruction in a 500 unit radius. It's okay but I wouldn't recommend it. Not really very good.
Manufacturer: BlasTech Industries
Ammunition Type: Concussive Charge Round
Ammo Count: 5
Clip Count: 2
Range: 10000
Area Effect: 500
Rating-4
Trandoshan Repeater
The Araykd LS-150 Heavy ACP Repeater Gun is a large, air-cooled repeater, with disintegrating plasma case cartridges. Only slightly more portable than a starship turret, the Heavy Repeater is used by special mercenary units, either defensively to hold a perimeter; or offensively, to annihilate enemy positions. This thing kicks Diet Dr. Pepper. Use it against trandos.
Manufacturer: Arakyd Industries
Ammunition Type: Accelerated Charged Particle Heavy Rounds
Ammo Count: 200
Clip Count: 2
Range: 5000
Area Effect: None
Rating-9
Geonosian Elite Beam Weapon
The Elite Beam weapon is unique in that it sucks ammunition from the internal fluids of the Geonosian Elites. The weapon harnesses these internal fluids and converts them into a highly focused, extremely lethal energy beam.
Internal Fluids
Ammo Count: N/A
Clip Count: N/A
Range: 8000

Wookiee Bowcaster
The Bowcaster is the standard weapon of the Wookiee militia. Wookiee crafters individually manufacture each Bowcaster and no two Bowcasters are exactly alike. However, ammunition clips are all uniform and interchangeable between different Bowcasters. A scope on the Bowcaster allows it to be a sniper gun that features a disintegrating, energy-sheathed, physical bolt that can impale targets at great distances. Three rounds are necessary to enable this impaler bolt. Nice replacement for sniper. Rember to charge it up.
Energized Impaler Bolt
Ammo Count: 12
Clip Count: 2
Scope: ElectroOptical Zoom
Range: 10000
Area Effect: 200
Rating-7
Wookiee Guided Rocket Launcher
The Guided Rocket Launcher is a portable, shoulder-held rocket launcher that can be "dumb"-fired or target-locked. Heavy warhead-tipped rockets are jettisoned and then self propelled towards target. Everyone thinks "wow a huge rocket launcher it must rock". It sucks its really weak don't even bother picking it up
Manufacturer: Individually manufactured by Wookiee crafters
Ammunition Type: Guided Warhead Tipped Rocket
Ammo Count: 5
Clip Count: 1
Range: 10000
Area Effect: 512

Re: Jeteye1's complete review of Republic Commando
I personally love the rocket launcher. It was when everyone online was still a n00b, it's pretty easy to have killing sprees up to four or fiveJeteye1 wrote:

You can't. That's the disadvantage.

RE: Re: Jeteye1
yes you can, you click and hold it over an enemy. the crosshairs get closer and closer together. there's also some way were you can fire all 6 rockets at once, that's what i can never remember how to do...
btw, this should probably be in game informer. o yeah, and imo got the ratings for the bowcaster and conk switched
if you directly hit someone with the conk (in mp) its an automatic kill no matter how far away they move before it detonates, plus its got ec melee (useful against droids or in mp)
somewhat OT: has anyone read the latest rc book (triple zero)? im in the middle of it now, it has both delta and omega squads...

This isn't a review. it's just a bunch of information, probably compiled from other sources.
You seem to have forgotten the part with the usable AT-TE turret. Could count as a vehicle, could be clssified as turret.

If you're interested in using this "text's formatting" in some of your messages, I think providing its "source code" will help you saving time, instead of typing it yourself...

So, might I know if any GameToast member around here has already tried to use it through Star Wars : Republic Commando ?

Oh it works... your commando skin looks like *puke*
(as in horridly low LOD, no armor paint either)
Its also pretty funny to see your commando when you've been knocked out
