Nice -- both of my comments at battlefront3.net were removed. Seems they don't want any educated people proving their blatantly obvious fake news wrong.

Heh, we should get GT organised to spam everything there in revenge....every member teaching them not to mess with you! :maulsaber:
Anyway, 2010 looks to be a good year for games: Fable 3, Halo Reach, TFU2, I'm sure there'll be another 3 guitar heroes out by then, um...I'm probably forgetting tons.

Since when is gathering a group of internet peers from one site and going to another site to spam a good idea?

Mass trolling =/= French revolution. None of that nonsense, it's a dumb idea.Darth_Squoobus wrote:q`12SInce when was te thrid estate storming the Bastille a good idea?Thire wrote:Since when is gathering a group of internet peers from one site and going to another site to spam a good idea?
If there's a group of people who want to wallow in their ignorance in something that inconsequential, then let them. The internet is probably the worst forum for changing hearts and minds.

Re: The Official VGA Thread, TFU2, Reach, and more!
Few things I'd like to comment on:
1) The phone call. Could be real, but again it'd be very easy to fake as well. Let's just assume it is for sake of argument. OK, so November 2010. It seems like it could happen, but again as...uhhhhh....ignorant a customer service representative might be, I'm SURE they would know better than to talk about games secretly being developed! Also, another huge point: I'm sure that if this supposed "employee" was true, he would know the developer as well.
2) Internally developed projects. I personally think BF3 IS being made, and that one of those projects is BF3. However it's crazy to say it's a confirmation that it's being made. Simply saying "We're making games" BY NO MEANS confirms BF3 is being made!
3) Call me critical, but companies aren't always exactly honest. Pandemic could easily have the game. Do you think they'd say "We have it!" if they did? Probably not! Lucasarts doesn't allow companies to reveal games before they're ready. I'm sure it's part of a contract. "We can't comment" might sound better, but I wouldn't be surprised if a company blatantly lies in saying they don't have BF3.
On another note, the halo franchise looks great as always. Unfortunately I've never played past Halo 2. I can't stand FPS on consoles. Hate it. I need a mouse, and it feels so much better and easier. Hope Halo 3 will come to PC at some point, but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't.
Kind of funny how they removed Tean's comments. Makes the whole phone call thing feel even more like a joke

There is no Pandemic, therefore they don't have the game.Lead_Pilot wrote: 3) Call me critical, but companies aren't always exactly honest. Pandemic could easily have the game. In any case, the point of this thread is not BFIII.
When does anybody reckon we'll get more info on TFU2?

There isn't now, but I think they commented a while ago. An admin on the forum said they didn't have it. Sorry, I should have been more clear.DarthRogueKnight wrote:There is no Pandemic, therefore they don't have the game.Lead_Pilot wrote: 3) Call me critical, but companies aren't always exactly honest. Back on topic, I never played the original Batman game. My PC can't handle it. I wasn't expecting a second one to come out though!
Halo seems good, as always. Port it to PC and I'll buy it.
The force unleashed 2 should be interesting. I'm curious to see how everything worked out, and the plot of it.

If your computer couldn't handle Arkham Asylum, you better buy a 360, because there is no way that you could play Halo 3, ODST, or Reach, even assuming that they would port them.Lead_Pilot wrote: Halo seems good, as always. Port it to PC and I'll buy it.
I have a really high grade gaming computer, and It still chokes on Arkham Asylum a lot.

Re: The Official VGA Thread, TFU2, Reach, and more!
Besides, the Halo 2 PC port was awful. I just think they could have done more with it. And not made it so you have to pay to play online.DarthRogueKnight wrote:If your computer couldn't handle Arkham Asylum, you better buy a 360, because there is no way that you could play Halo 3, ODST, or Reach, even assuming that they would port them.Lead_Pilot wrote: Halo seems good, as always. Indeed. Windows Live is a free service. As far as the Halo 2 PC port, what's wrong with it? It looks great, comes with new maps, is Windows Live enabled, and has an optional level editor.

This one wasn't:Teancum wrote:Nice -- both of my comments at battlefront3.net were removed. Seems they don't want any educated people proving their blatantly obvious fake news wrong.
Why would some lowly employee on the tech support side of Lucasarts tell some random person that SWBF3 is in development? They don’t get told that stuff if it hasn’t been released to the press. When stuff like this is going on, lowly hourly Joe Techsupport doesn’t know squat.
I’m keeping my hopes up, but these “confirmations” are beyond laughable

Oh really? I swear at one time it was like Xbox Live. My interest in Halo 2 for PC has just been awoken.Teancum wrote:Indeed. Windows Live is a free service. 2 minutes later-
I just did some research, and you're right. I may just get Halo 2 for PC (a reason to actually use Vista)

Some Free Radical SWBF3 animation stuff in there -- about 1/2 way through.

Man, those looked epic. I lol'd at the first AT-RT anim. Now I wish they didn't split...
