so i thought it's a bit like the Orbital strike. you have an effect (The ship) and than the container fall down instead of the laser

The animation is probably asking a bit much, but the rest is pretty easy via editing odf's. Just add a local side and change the invisible cp mesh to that of your droid dispenser and voila! Reinforcements independant of your two sides, and the cp won't even show on the minimap.

Has anyone ever made a quadrupedal skeleton and animation set?

You're going to need to be a lot less vague than that. I can tell you the answer is no, but I'm still curious.

As far as I know is this dewback a vehicle, not a playable unit.
Also, the Imperium is called the Empire in english speaking regions.

Re: All-Purpose Request Thread (Mk. IV)
Actually it's not. There were some discussions about why the dwarfspider can't be used as unit, wich is because a walker type vehicle has way less animations than a unit.

Re: All-Purpose Request Thread (Mk. IV)
Would someone mind hexediting some cloth onto Labj's HD Ep3Trooper please? It would be incredibly helpful. I still can't get the hang of hex editors.

Re: All-Purpose Request Thread (Mk. IV)
I don't think Labj has ever made an "HD Ep3Trooper" model. If you mean the model that uses the body by RepSharpshooter and FragMe! with the helmet by DarthD.U.C.K., which was all kitbashed by Deviss, then I can do it, given that you can confirm that this is the right model and provide which existing cloth you would like have attached to it.
Or if you want to try it yourself, then you can try this learn-best-by-example tutorial:

Re: All-Purpose Request Thread (Mk. IV)
I have attempted to hex-edit the model a total of eight times, each time resulting in failure. I have followed the tutorial through each time, and every time, I must screw something up.
I know when to call it quits.
Here is the link to the model and the cloth.

Thank you very much. This really helps a lot.

No worries. Here's your request: http://www.mediafire.com/?gacbdavhv8wctay
You are welcome.
EDIT
I'm not sure where you are messing up, but if you followed the tutorial through correctly, then it should be working. Unless you are getting the cloth ODF related stuff wrong...are you?

Re: All-Purpose Request Thread (Mk. IV)
I think what I am screwing up is the longint number part. In my most recent attempt, I did everything, double checked it, and made sure all the right stuff was selected. However, when I put the MSH in my side and then edited the ODF's to use it, all that showed up was the standard EP3Trooper model without a cape.

Re: All-Purpose Request Thread (Mk. IV)
Well, if the model is showing up fine in-game, then it's probably an issue with your ODFs. Otherwise, your game would be crashing due to a corrupt .msh file.

Re: All-Purpose Request Thread (Mk. IV)
I think I'll re-check ODF's, then clean to make sure the actually changes are put into effect, then munge.
EDIT:
Earlier though, the game crashed plenty of times.
