As far as Kashyyyk goes, it looks swell as a level, but in comparison to the movie, it is mediocre. One thing I can say about it is that there is a fortress that looks like it goes some way back. They didn't show any footage inside of it, but I did see the opening, and compared to the mountain behind the village, it looks pretty large, but I'm only guessing.
Of course, this footage they are showcasing shows ne to nothing of the levels. Take Geonosis: pretty much nothing but one area was shown. And according to the producer, the levels are HUGE, even the redone ones. So, I still have my hopes up. Yavin IV was most likely expanded to include more dense forest areas. Jabba's Palace probably includes an extra dungeon or two, maybe more (because she said the levels were going to be huge, and judging on the original Jabba's Palace, it is small). My biggest complaints on all the levels lie on Dagobah. That looks nothing like Dagobah. I'm sorry. But it irritates me so. They made the water clear, no "fog", no abundance of trees, etc. What the frik? That's no swamp. It's a couple of water puddles here and there, and some trees. It's not dark enough, either. My last complaint I shall bestow upon Yoda....and all the other Jedi that have those cruddy looking lightsabers. First off, they are way too "bright." They have this big aura surrounding them, which makes it look extremely weird (atleast Yoda's did). Yoda's was extremely too thick. It looked like a frikin broadsword. And if the beams aren't attached to the hilts (like the first BF), I'll be angry...Did you guys notice there was always a gap between the hilt and the beam?...Er!
And one more thing while I'm thinking about it. Have you ever noticed that the rebel infantry's backpacks aren't attached to their backs? There is this really wide gap and it is highly noticiable from the side. This may go for other classes and factions, but I know it applies to the rebel infantry. Gah! I wish they would fix this!
But anyway, enough of my rambling on. We will just have to wait until more info arises. But I hope that the next two levels they showcase will be the Death Star with Sidious and Dagobah with Yoda. Gah, I hope...

Hm, i also wonder about the different quality of SWBF2 screenshots. some looks great and others not. So i guess that the "not so good" ones are from earlier developping stages.
Overall i have a very good feeling about SWBF2. The only thing i don´t like is that there might be no Cockpit views. But it´s not out yet so i still hope they will be in in the final release.

I hope everything so far was from early builds...I hope they have sense enough to correct Dagobah, gah. But overall, I too have a good feeling about how the game is taking shape. As far as cockpit views are concerned, they probably will keep them. If they didn't it would be odd....You know how in third person you never can aim correctly, but in first person you never miss and it's a whole lot easier to decide if you are about to hit the ground or not. They ought to keep it.

Hmm...My wishes have come true. I just played Jabba's Palace and have come to find that something is different about the new showcase of the revised version. In the video, there is a CP near the large gate that leads out into the dune sea. In BF1, there was no CP there. Why does this offer hope, you ask? Because right beside that gate is the room where the Republic/Empire spawns at first when you start up the level. There is, of course, a CP in that room. Common knowledge would tell us that no two CP's would be that close together. Therefore, the level has been expanded. Yay. I'm guessing they only wanted to showcase what we had already "seen." So, this rekindles my hope that Yavin IV will also receive a full blown face lift, and that they were only showcasing what we had already "seen" which was most likely the core parts of the level.

Um...I haven't seen any photos that look bad as of yet. I don't know what you guys are talking about. Most of the photos are from the PC and the only photos that look "bad" are from the PS2 build. It's all stretched and what not. But I don't look at those anyway, and you have to expect that from such a low-end system. PC is shaping up nicely, except for that Dagobah level and other inconsistensies with the films.

Kashyyyk is awesome! Everything has been redone. All textures, huts on round platforms 30 feet in the air, defensive barriers (were originally stacked logs), and the layout has been completely redone.

Yay, new turrets!

This is a new turret, or they re-did the anti-air turret (look closely; it's a compact version of the original anti-air with defensive shields).

I found this is in the EU part of Mustafar's databank entry:

Sounds like part of the single player mode story.
After the destruction of the Separatist Council and the Imperialization of the Techno Union, Mustafar was largely forgotten. A Separatist stalwart, the fugitive Geonosian Gizor Dellso, holed up on Mustafar during the early days of the Galactic Empire, requiring the attention of the loyal 501st legion of troopers to storm the hellish world.
