Adding kama, pauldron and gun holsters to stormtrooper

Post by Newmodder »

Hello Gametoast,

I've decided to star modding BFII again after several years. I just have a quick question:

Can i add the things in the title to the stormtrooper via hex editing?, or is it only possible in XSI?, also would they be in the correct coordinates? (not by the knees for example or ontop of the head?

Thanks! :D :funny2:

It can be done in xsi a few different ways. I've never tried the hex editing approach but here's a tut on it (from the everything you need thread).

Thanks Ocean! :D

Just wondering, does this method also work? (feel hexing is a bit too complicated)

Edit: It shows up in the model viewer but the holsters are to far from the hips, any ways to fix this?

Not sure, you might want to check it in-game; sometimes the model viewer draws things weird. If you haven't already I'd recommend checking out the 3d modeling section of GT. Adding stuff to units is very popular - I guarantee your question has been answered in great detail over there. Good luck!
