Who's making the models?wishihadaname wrote:2) I don't have 2 months to wait on one model, it apparently takes a while cas the bridge and factory have been in production for the last 1.5 months and still aren't done.

I don't want to embrass my modeler, simply stated he is taking waaay too long but it would take even longer for me to learn how to model. However if any of you think that you could make a super tank model in under a month then I would be most greatful for the help.

Hey. You never know, but with a bit of practice, you could probably get it done well inside a month. It would probably take about a week to get used to the controls and buttons, but i'm sure you could get it done in time........and its a handy skill to have as well. Of course its still up to you, but i would recommend giving modelling a go, and one of the simplest to use is probably blender.

Re: WIP: Clone Wars: Landing at Point Rain
alright guys, there won't be updates for a little bit. I've re-learned how to model in XSI and am now making models, if your interested i'm going to start a thread in the modeling forum soon that will contain current progress of the factory, super tanks and bridge, expect a few little things too like foxholes, trenches and possible a few rock spires.

I'm reallly sorry I haven't done much over the last couple weeks, between my exhaustion from school and my newfound addiction to Dragon Age Origins I haven't done anything. I promise I'm not giving up on this map though, it WILL get realeased but I can't work on it when I spend about 6 hours a day doing homework. I will probably realease an abridged version with conquest only some time soon and you can expect the full epic size over the summer when I actually have time to work on it.

He won't give it to you, I know that from experience, but if ya want, go ahead and ask, he won't eat you.Nabopolasszar wrote:Mav already made a BTL-B model for his Dark Times mod. You can ask for itwishihadaname wrote:Monday Update!

I dunno, but wishihadaname may look appetizing to Mav. But, who knows? Mav may resist the urge to consume him. lol But yeah, it doesn't hurt to ask at least once, I think.Darth_Spiderpig wrote:He won't give it to you, I know that from experience, but if ya want, go ahead and ask, he won't eat you.Nabopolasszar wrote:Mav already made a BTL-B model for his Dark Times mod. I also know the feeling, wishihadaname. School and life in general has been taking me away with things I want to do. Lately, though, it's moreover laziness. But hey, I'll get to doing stuff. It just takes a little kicking in your own behind to get ya back into it....but obviously don't do it if there's other important stuff to be doing.

I'm still waiting on the edge of my seat for news about this level, I'll be happy when it is released. Also, I'd be honored to make maps winding up like this one is turning out to be.
Keep it up!

No hard evidence yet. It's just a theory so far. My department is working on it.Lagomorphia wrote:Do you have any evidence for these allegations of digital cannibalism?wishihadaname may look appetizing to Mav.

Waiting for news.....
I think that you should just skip the "abridged" version.
We can be patient, although it may not seem like it at times.

Re: WIP: Clone Wars: Landing at Point Rain
I'm with CressAlbane. Skip the "abridged" version and just release the full when you get around to finishing it. Take all the time you need. We can wait a while for a REALLY good map like this one promises to be.
