Using a Custom Asset Problem

Post by TheMastermindOfMaom »

Since the last topic I understood what I wanted to do,got the unit I wanted in map but I decided to use Anakin's Sith Stalker to test myself again. I only saw .msh and .tga but no .odf. Searched some other assets and still no .odf. Do I make the odf? Sorry for spamming, last topic for a week.

Yes you have to make the odf. Use a pre-existing one as a template and then change it as needed to use your custom asset.

There's this one on custom sides which will probably help you. All you need to do is copy the mshs and tgas into the correct locations and then where you see GeometryName in the unit's odf (take a copy of a stock one and edit it) replace what it says with the name of the msh of your custom asset. You might also be able to find a few more tutorials or helpful tidbits if you search around a bit as well.
