From browsing the JKA folders. :music:
I might throw together a tutorial sometime. It's not really that advanced, you just need to get used to it.

Ok, i noticed the TFU EVO trooper looked quite different from a regular stock. So I introduce, the

EVO trooper:

Still baffled? Well I'll explain:
Hidden/Spoiler:

Thru the circles:

-Cylinders added to lower leg and forearms

-The kneepads are different

-Better looking ammo packs

-Different shoulder pads

-and MOST importantly an accurate breathing chestplate, with THREE tubes.

*all via ref pic standards, u can check against each other*

and I bet u all know I didn't make most of this (stormie model) but will post wireframe ANYWAY!:

Working on the head now.

*BUT* if anyone thinks they can do a better job of the curvature on the EVO troopers head u can PM me. Cus the way i am goin, its gonna go boxy.

Revised the battle rifle. I finished the back part and, after spending some time on another model, I realised how much the front of the model was so wasteful with polygons and edges. I'm also starting to figure out the Uv thingy. (texture is just a tryout of mine, nothing final in that) Scope is not finished.

Please, could someone place some critical assesment of my model? I know some parts (mostly on the back) are still not entirely optimal, but please tell me if I'm doing something wrong.
EDIT:
oops, wrong image

Nah, I made it in XSI. I based it off a Lego model which I had infront of me. I find it much easier to make something which I have infront of me...that way, I can turn it to see all the angles, etc.

Stock one for comparison:

Pandemic - original Boba Fett model (not the texture, that's going to be scratch-made by me)

I think I'm starting to get the hang of the basics in Blender. I'll be editing the rest as well.
Comments, flame's, :jango: 's ?

EDIT:
ARGH! while looking at the UV layout, I see that I made some triangles that easily could've been quads.
