Re: Sky Ruins
I say DEFINITELY do fighters. For a map like this, they would seem to fit perfectly.

Re: Sky Ruins
Fighters would be cool, but it would be hard to fly with the fog though

Re: Sky Ruins
jep you are right TK432.
I tried it out and if you don't have a good video/graphic card and enough RAM it will lag.
It's also very difficult to fly.

Re: Sky Ruins
How many layers of fog do you have? If you have more than one, I would suggest getting rid of them one at a time until the fighters become practical enough to use.Executer94 wrote: I tried it out and if you don't have a good video/graphic card and enough RAM it will lag.

Re: Sky Ruins
This is one great map that's coming along. The only thing I'd change is reduce the mist a little, but other then that, looks great for a first timer.

Re: Sky Ruins
Executor, this map looks like its been off to a great start.
As for fighters, I would strongly suggest against it. It can ruin the playability and aura of the map. But whatever you decide, good luck!

I agree, the map is misty...and flying fighters around it would ruin that misty feelingtrainmaster611 wrote:As for fighters, I would strongly suggest against it. It can ruin the playability and aura of the map. But whatever you decide, good luck!

Re: Sky Ruins
I'm gonna have second/whatever number it is now, on the fighters. The mist would be impossible to fly in as is. Besides I already crash into stuff as it is, not being able to see would make it a very short run. Ties, and A-Wings are fast fighters and unless the map is huge you'll fly outside before you even know it. And if these ruins are just floating then it'll look weird, there is more than one reason you can't fly on Mygeeto.
So just save yourself the trouble and fore-go the fighters, keep it up!

Re: Sky Ruins
I'm on the no-fighters side for the same reasons as B-1.
I wish you luck.
Understood. Well, I can't judge the map from the screeshots, it's too foggy (that is not a bad thing, of course) but from what I can see it looks ok.Executer94 wrote:The platforms hover there in the air.

Re: Sky Ruins
thanks guys
I think there are a lots of reasons for no fighters so they won't be there.
But now I have to remove the now usless platforms around the base. But that's no problem

Re: Sky Ruins
You know, if you want you could take the models for the fighters and turn them into props. At least it would look like an airbase without acting as one.

My computer had a fatal crash
I had to install the Windows again.
All is gone!
So no Sky Ruins
I'm sorry for this and i think i won't rebuild it.
