Adding ARC "cape" to Imperial units?

Post by Xantar »

I need to add one of those cape type things onto the imperial shocktrooper, how would one be able to accomplish this? Is it just editing files and TGAs, or is the whole model needed to be overhauled?

the kilt is a model called rep_inf_arc_pack_blue, add that onto the imperial unit with an OverrideTexture2 line in the odf.

Vader and Dooku have separate models for their capes; the Snowtrooper and Arctrooper do not, their kilt is part of the main model.
"rep_inf_arc_pack_blue" is a texture reference, not a separate model.

The Vader and Dooku odf's will show you how to attach the cape to another model, but doesn't really help with the original question, I would go with RDST's answer.
