As far as place goes, i have little idea. However, i've come up with two underwater designs. One open level near the surface where its much brighter, and its mostly flat ridges of a reef, allowing for good size vehicle battles(CW). On the other hand i could make a network of underground caves where you can hide in the darkness, or fight from underwater cliff to underwater cliff(GCW/CW). Well, thats all the brainstorming i'm going to do. I'll have to wait till we get the SWBF2 tools to see what i have to work with.

Doesn't sound like you have any shortage of options for water battles, Astute!
Nor a technical shortage, as I can gather from playing your map.
Like Schizo said, take a little getting used to, but very nice. Completely different than any other map... and good at it, too. Keep it up!
Since everyone is dishing out planets... why not an underwater Felucia? That would be eerie... glowing, aquatic giant fungus.

This map is fantastic!
One thing that you might want to improve is that when you fire the shrapnel launcher pistol thing you get an animation of a hand throwing a grenade. You could try changing the weapon's AnimationBank from "grenade" to "pistol". I think it should work as the mortar launchers in the shipped game are "grenade" class but use the "rifle" animation bank.

Dry Areas? Indoors?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but could you use some sort of "no rain" region (the bubblels are essential rain type effects, right?) to have dry-land indoors or above a certain height of your map? Sorry if I'm wrong, but I've never used rain or whatever youve used. VERY Original idea.
What about a retextured speeder bike that is a flyer? That would be . . .beyond words.

Sry, here is the other link.

Yes, the AI do throw a lot of grenades, but i guess its better than them sniping you with the harpoon. The bubble effect is essentially rain with some modifications, so a no rain region would work, as well as a shadow region to give the change in light. I'm looking into dry to wet environments like this, think inside a shipwreak with water in the bottom half. As far as vehicles go, its very hard to have a speederbike or the mini sub "swim" around in the water. The collisions make it nearly impossible to move near obstacles, and have you ever tried to shoot at a moving target while in mid air? Its a tough shot. I have been looking into the manta sub though, but i'm still unsure what the republic's vehicle would be (not the trooper)
