i think the "DLT-19 heavy blaster rifle" has been made, if so, where is it?

yes Syth posted a pack where was that weapon, but the removed it :? , so maybe anyone have it and could reupload it for you :D

No, that's the standard SBD animation and skeleton. That SBD is just scaled up and reskinned. It would be a very simple proccess to emulate that.

I would try this.
From the FAQ thread:

As for the minimap issue, maybe you could have a partially transparent or dotted lines showing the first floor? Or maybe you could move the first level over to the side, take a screenshot of the two levels side by side, and then add teleports to the areas moving from one level to the other.
