Hovernaught does not work in game. The exit spawn point is set under the vehicle. when you exit, you die. There is no msh file to edit. Unless someone builds the model from scratch, it cannot be used. I made a command speeder with beefed up stats to equal the hovernaught for my Oasis Duel map so that the rebs would have a mobile command post too. I hex edited the msh files and renamed the odf and texture files so that it is a seperate entity and will spawn alongside regu;ar combatspeeders. The odf was changed to include mobile CP parameters. try experimenting with things like that.

The third side can be named with the localization tool. The regular four sides cannot be changed and have the game work in version 1.2 I believe. Version 1.3 supported it but 1.3 was never officialy released due to bugs.

In order to change the name of an existing vehicle object, you must make it a unique one. (i.e. instead of imp_hover_fightertank you need to rename the odf to something like skimp_hover_fightertank and load the assets either through a side or the world folders then rename it in the localization tool.

These answers have been posted before. Use the search tool for the forums. A lot of forums don't provide a search function (AHEM Lucas Arts!!!!!!!!) but this one does. Look through the stickies as well. LOTS of good info is those.

Good Luck,

Steve

Amen to that. Love this search function. Always remember to check the stickies first. A lot has been answered there already. Also the mod tool docs, secret society (link to psych0fred's on the left), Saturn labs, and then the search. Most of the time you will be asked if you check those information first. Best to read them to C.Y.A. (Saturn_V and phych0fred are notorious for saying "Read the Docs")
