I don't know about other image editing programs but in GIMP, when saving an image as a .tga, you have the option to turn on or off RLE compression (you would want it off).

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread v3.0
This is a revamping of something I have been working on for a while now.
It is the Zero-G Stormtrooper, it has be reworked somewhat using some of the modeling things I have learned since I started it as well the texture is entirely from scratch utilizing ambient occlusion maps generated in XSI. It is not totally finished, have some detail work to do but without any further rambling here are some pictures.

Hehe... I still have the head texture from a when you showed it to me. Extremely well-done. Is it going to have take-off anims or 9pose, or will it just be a static vehicle?

It will still use the take off anims it had before. I did try to experiment with giving it both take off and 9pose but you can only have one or the other.

It's ok, some of the UV's seem off, some things don't match up and you have black borders on the hands.

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread v3.0
It is not UV's that are off it is drinking too much coffee then trying to paint fine lines.
That it why I said there is more detail work to be done.

Coffee=bad for you
Well then it seems that you painted a texture with a black backdrop rather than just using white so that you wouldn't see boundaries of where certain areas start/stop.

Actually, he painted it (at least the helmet) with a white backdrop. He actually sent me the texture with just the head a while back.minilogoguy18 wrote:Coffee=bad for you
