bf2_modtool_no_dvd is the dvd version of bf2modtool.exe (the debugging utility). The green band is supposed to be there; it's for debugging purposes. The debugger itself is not meant to be played as the full game.

I have 2 computer in one I have "No TnL detected " but in the other
(the one I use), I have a good graphics card but a bad processor so the sky does not appear
