This lags far worse than you're raxus prime map. I can't play it even on lowest settings. How to FIX IT:
-Lower the minimum view distance!!!!!!!!!
-SECTORS/PORTALS!.
General Use tip:Just add a sector around an area, then add all of the objects/effects generators inside it to it. Then, extend the border so that you enter in before you could possibly any of the objects. Add the rest of you're map to similar sectors or just one to test. THe borders can overlap. THen, and a sector surrounding and area where you can unavoidably see the whole map(IE:above a certain height), then add the whole map to it. It may be easier to make the borders incompass the whole map and then use aut add and readjust the borders.
-go below the terrain when moving if you have trouble clicking the green sphere for a sector verticy.
-Thinking creatively with sectors and maybe portals will allow you to have you're map visually the same with a whole lot less lag.
Check out The Modding Faq thread for a ton of cool stuff we've learned how to do while you've been gone. Including how to get sectors to actually work. Someone with you're environment skills could do a lot of coolks stuff with Animation and the simpler advanced lua scripting. (MMM. Stuff that falls over when you walk under it-no ones done that yet but its possible.)
-also we've learned how to add multiple new teams, more than 2 playable teams(not done yet and real complex but Zerted the code genious said he's done it before.)
-The list goes on.
P.S. Zerted recently released these two kick W.N.A. files which allow freecamera and let you automatically trigger victory, make teams friends etc via the fakeconsole button. REALLY USEFUL for DVD users without BF2 Modtools.

Thanks, Ace_Azzameen. Really useful tips.
I´ve already been testing with reduced view distance and it works well, since it improves framerate along with atmosphere.
I found that link about sectors and portals very helpful.
I was placing sectors and portals all over the map and wondering all the time how they seemed to have no effect... so thanks for that.
Big Point on the To Do List.
Diet Dr. Pepper, the next map I make will be just two crates on a field!

Nice tips Ace_Azzameen_5, before i used them, this map were lagging so much that it was impossible to play, but now it's working perfectly fine, and I can really see what a masterpiece Delinquent has created.

Awesome! Can't wait to download that.Diet Dr. Pepper, the next map I make will be just two crates on a field!

Adding Uber mode (XL) Would be really great, and this map is made for CTF. A high-unit Hero assault would also pwn. Pretty please?
If you do go ahead and add sectors and portals fix for this map (which would do wonders for many many people) you could just add a few modes fairly quickly and easily.
I love this map (especially visualy) but I can't see most of it thanks to my PC. Personally, I'd like to enjoy this map at its most.
EDIT--there's two more things I"d like to see changed. I think that it would be nice to see the radar once you have four CPs, and the one thing that annoys me the most is the damage height from jumping. There's alot of jumping on this map, so it would be ncie not to have a broken ankle trying to go a few dozen after. This is especially true with the jetpackers. The jetpack isn't designed to give you a gentle landing and I get really frustrated when I've got 1/3 helth just getting to an enemy CP. Then it's one stray blasterbolt and I'm down and trying it all over again. >.<

The minimap-radar is meant to be like this. But if you are lost, you can use the bigger map.
anyway, this is the best-looking map I've seen up to now. And probably the best map given up to now. I can't describe it - the blasters have cool hit effects, the terrain has a lot of cover (which you definately need in order to survive). There are so many ways to you enemy. The sides are great - it's the best map I know.

This really is no exaggeration. The huge environment is incredible and extremely detailed. The sides are unique and fun to play and the map can prove very challenging. Probably my favorite map out there. Simply awesome.Protector_Pulch wrote:...this is the best-looking map I've seen up to now. And probably the best map given up to now. This is, visually, the best map I have ever seen. The new Unit models are amazing. However...
The lack of speed and jumping ability is incredibly understated in the Read Me. It makes little sense that the Rebel Allaince would make a base on a uber-high gravity planet, being that they wouldn't have enough pressure suits for an entire army, and the fact that you run so slow really just plain ticks me off. But, kudos on the map anyway.

I'm glad that you realized that you were bumping a topic-most people don't. And I'm glad that you cared that you did that- again, those who do notice, most of them don't. However, you still bumped, and it's for something that is solely directed at the author of the map.
Next time you need information like this (and I still recommend this approach to your current situation) you should really just PM the creator. Thanks- I know that you'll keep it in mind for the future.
