Oh yeah, Oddball is a real character, hes the clone pilot in the beginning of ROTS that follows Anakin and Obi-Wan until he gets chased down by some CIS forces, Obi-Wan just decides to leave him to his fate

chill man it aint up yet, but hes making it so that the units act more like real units, not mindless things, and getting melee attacks (aka bashing someone over the head with your rifle)

I have a suggestion... Why not use the saber model that was recently released for Count Dooku? Since your aiming for realism in this side mod, I thought that that would be a good idea... If you already hadn't thought of it...
EDIT: Not to be a bother, but we haven't heard from you in awhile.. Kind of curious as to whats going on with the mod.

I'm glad you like the mod!
I've already added the Dooku saber, I implemented it as soon as it was released.
More about sabers, I've made a new Imperial hero, Maarek Stele, on Mustafar. Imperial pilot with lightsaber and force powers, it's cool.
I have been rather sick, and progress has slowed. But I'm still working on it. I really want to release this new version, it's awesome.
I've already added the Dooku saber, I implemented it as soon as it was released.

Ah, sick, bummer ARC...
Well, hope you fell better soon! I also can't wait for this mod to come out... again... it seems a short time ago you were getting ready to release it from a WIP. This mod is the only mod I play now, and I can't see how it could get any better, but if you say so then we will have to wait!

But your side mod has loured me back and given me interest in the game once more. Wow... thanks everyone! Once I solve the elusive problem of the Republic gunship crashing upon landing, I'll do my best to get it released ASAP. Stability changes and skin improvements are a large part of the new version, as well as consistency. And melee attacks. It's MasterSaitek009's punch with tweaks. And I just finished writing scripts to automate installation, uninstallation, enabling, and disabling BFX.

When I get my Assault Cannon done, I might make a Packard Mortar gun, an Imperial Repeater (Dark Forces Version), and the Proximity Mine from DF, and also the concussion rifle from Dark Forces (which in terms looks sort of like a bulky DC-15 in my view, but eh. XD ). So when that's done I'll ship them over to you. 
All of course are Imperial Weaponry.
You could decide if you want them or not. Of course my models will need texturing jobs and made to the right formats, but eh, I'll see what I can do. The models I make will be free to use in any mod... especially this mod and my map exclusively as well.
I'll do what I can to produce awesome weapons for the community to use with their sides.

Nice, if you get those done, I would find them very useful. Imperial repeater for the shadow stormie, packered mortar for the engineer, Proximity Mine would be good for anything, and the concussion rifle could be good for the Rebel Marine or something.

Oh, I forgot to ask you about something ARC, my game crashes whenever I load a space map that has the new Marine unit. I didn't know if that was already stated or if you included that in your stability fixes. I just wanted you to be aware of that. Thanks! :jango:
