how can i hex-edit a jetpack to a snowtrooper instead of the backpack?
can someone please give me a short detailed answer? thank you.

p.s. yes, is already had a look at http://personal.riley-man.com/swbf/edit ... f-msh.html but i just can't see where the jetpack would start and where it would end.

Hex-edit the same way you would cloth; check the FAQ thread.

um, of course i had already checked that but to me it seems to be not explained precisely enough. i spend too much time thinking about what repsharpshooter could mean. but thanks for your reply fiodis.

Of course. Take a peek in the sides folder sometime. You'll see ALL....could be, alliance? And IMP. That's maybe something to do with imperials.....

Same for everything else.

So are we. But I just flicked through it and Rep makes no mentions of a REP side, just the ep3 sniper.

now to bring this back to topic i would appreciate if someone answered my question. maybe this is even possible without directing me into other threads which i already know. i just can't hack it. every time my game crashes while loading the map. perhaps some gametoaster is willing to make this little hex edit...
