[Solved] Unit Class crashing game on Felucia

Hey GT,
I'm struggling with an annoying error for a while now and I don't understand why it is happening.

I added custom sides to Felucia and after some time playing with the rocketeer unit - usually from 3 up to 10 seconds - the game suddenly ctd without any telling entry in the errorlog. At first I thought it was caused by the model, but I had it tested by others and it's working fine. After a few days I finally narrowed it down to the class itself causing the ctd. For testing I swapped out the parent class of the rocketeer to rep_inf_default_rifleman, the game doesn't crash no matter how long you play the match. But when I swap it back to rep_inf_default_rocketeer, it's a ctd.

The weird thing is that this is only happening on Felucia. On all the other maps I implemented my custom sides the rocketeer class doesn't cause any crashes at all. I already adjusted all Memory Pools and at this point I'm just clueless on what to do. Has something like this happened to someone else before?

I've never had that happen and there's little insight I can offer with certainty, but I will point out that you seem to be running a graphics mod or something based on the error log, and that may be causing an issue with the specific unit, especially since other ppl arent having the ctd and it's just you. Something about the unit may conflict with the graphics mod. That's just pure speculation though

Yes I know, that's a custom class that I created back then. But that shouldn't cause the crash since this class is also present on all other maps and the class that crashes the game is the "rocketeer". I'll delete it nevertheless and see what happens.

And the only mod I've installed next to mine is the newest version of Anakin's Remastered. Otherwise it's a clean game.

EDIT: Unfortunately that didn't do the trick

EDIT2: It seems to have something to do with the rocket_launcher. I swapped it to a normal rifle and it worked. Back to the rocket_launcher and it crashed again. Then I removed the line AnimationBank = "bazooka" and moved it to the parent rocket_launcher and suddenly the game ran stable. No ctd yet for two full matches.

Despite being unrelated, "commander" still isn't something the game recognizes for "UnitType"

You can study the ODFs for other original characters and see the different types that do exist.
