Mesh Exporter + UV's

Post by kinetosimpetus »

I'm currently using XSI 4.2 Foundation Trial to export an addon msh I made in XSI Modtool 6.01. The tentacle works perfectly, but the material looks like it is just flat brown. ingame and in mshviewer, but in XSI it looks like the texture.

i think the materials and uv's are fine though... could i have the export settings wrong?

That would export the textures you assigned to it as tga to the same location as the msh.

It has nothing to do with textures showing up wrong.

have you tried to export the model as obj and reimport it?
spiderpig is right, there is a big difference between textures and UVs.
