KotOR: Dantooine

Some of you probably noticed the glamour shots, and PotD's that have been popping up here and on Filefront featuring a KotOR themed Dantooine Map.
I've finally decided to post a WIP topic, here for the benefit of those other then my beta testers.

The map I'd say is overall, 75% complete.

The map is not exactly like Dantooine in KotOR, if it was it would be HUGE, but I have tried to keep plenty of the dantooine landmarks.


Modes include:

GCW era: KotOR conquest

Conquest
1 Flag CTF
2 Flag CTF
Hero assault: KotOR 1 Heros only.

CW era: Mandalorians VS Jedi

Conquest
1 Flag CTF
2 Flag CTF

All GCW modes have Mandalorians as locals, hostile to both sides.
The Mandloians I used are NOT your typical Jango fett clones, they are the old fashioned Jedi civil war ones.
And if you saw the gun I posted in the funny picture topic, then You should know they come packaged with a full can of PWN.
As stated above, all CW modes allow you to play as the mandalorians, or fight against them as Jedi, its not as unbalanced as it might sound.

It looks like that's about as accurate as anyone could produce Dantooine. Good job.

awesome job, Caleb. I was just playing KotOR today on Dantooine, I love how you included the Matale estate. Mandolorians look awesome too. the only complaint I have is that Carth just doesn't look right with 3/4 sleeves and a shirt that's mostly open, but I guess that's the best that can be done with the current models.

anyway, this will be awesome!

No, a Kath hound Won't work, unless someone makes a brand new model.
I think thats well beyond my capability, I'm not so good at organic.

It is possable that their might be some kinrath.
It too would need a new model, but it would be a simple one, and I think it could use the Acklay Animations.

The map looks beautiful and peaceful, without the war :runaway: Looks great! Loved the textures and the swaying grass in the video.
