BF Builder Pro

Post by Ninjor »

I always get a script error whenever I try to create a new world.

I go to project, then I click on new project, I then tell it the name I want,
then I say "create world", a little pop-up comes up that says "Create DataWor1", I click "yes", then it says "Script Error! on line . . ."

What's wrong with BF Builder Pro?

P.S I downloaded the Windows N.T file that it said I needed and it didn't work.

BFBuilder Pro does not work. Whenever I try to make a new project or load one, it always gives me a script error.

What do I do?

BFBuilder Pro has nothing to do with XSI.

Do you have it in the root directory of you drive, in most cases C:\BFbuilder, If you put it in a folder out of the root. it will not work. so this is enxcmple of bad location c:\programs\Bfbuilder.

Not exactly. You could have C:\Games\SWBF2\Tools\BFBuilder, but you can't have spaces in the folders. C:\Games\Star Wars Battlefront II\Tools\BFBuilder won't work.

Is that a fix in BFII tools as BFI tools has to sit on root

Best way I found to make it work is this filepath.

C:\BFBuilder

or

C:\BFBuilder\any random folder you choose in there.

You'll still get script errors every now and then but just start over then. BFBuilderPro is a unfinished tool so its going to have a few bugs.
