Weapon Size Peashooter

Post by CodaRez »

Ok, finally got my weaps ingame. prob is:

Image

Lol its too small!!!

I planned for this weapons to be as long as a, what, maybe sniper rifle?

Now its the size of an E11(.odf related? I did use an E11 .odf)

So, how would I let the model use the scale I intended(which I set up in .xsi itself)

Can't you just scale it using a .msh.option file? http://www.gametoast.com/forums/viewtop ... 59#p278959

Doesn't that only work on props?

And is "WeaponClass" the same as "GameObjectClass"?

And other custom weapons seem to ahve this prob too, not only this one.

No, it works with all meshes.

No, but it doesn't really matter in this case because the problem isn't .odf related.

I don't know about using .option for that, as it'd probably get fairly close to, or over, the 3.0 mark.

Did you freeze all transforms? If you did this, the numbers dealing with scale on the right panel in XSI should all show a "1". (At least, it works that way with ModTools. I would think it works the same with the others.) If not, freeze it and re-export.
