hi, I have installed the swbf2v1.3patch_lite_revision_117 , and I can start the game, and see all the new choices available, but the problems start after that.
In conquest mode, I cant see the models of the units that I can recruit. Their names appear, but not the model.
Secondly, when I try to start a game, that is a space attack or a normal skirmish, the session loads, but as soon as the load is complete, the game kicks me out to windows. No error message or anything, it just shuts off.
Plz, if any1 can help me with this.
P.S.
This also happens after I uninstall the patch as described in the .doc.

Re: game wont start
Try running it with the debug tool in the BF2_Modtools.

Ignore the above. Your problem is that you installed the lite version. You need to install the full (in any version, the SWBF1 pack's version will do) before you install the lite. What I suggest you do is uninstall the lite version, and install either the full version or the SWBF1 pack and then the lite version. (Your core problem is the lack of the 1.2 patch assets, which are included in the SWBF1 pack and the full 1.3 as mentioned above.)

You don't have to worry about the modtools right now.

This is untrue. The 1.3 patch (full version) is the exact same functionally as the 1.3 patch (lite version). The only difference is that the full version visually upgrades the original sides, and you can still receive all the functional benefits of the 1.3 patch without the full version.Frisbeetarian wrote:Ignore the above. If that's true, then so be it. I was just thinking that if, for some reason, his game is referencing the 1.2 patch upgrades, then this would probably be the result if they were missing.Maveritchell wrote:This is untrue. The SWBF1 Pack is the SWBF1 Conversion Pack, sorry for the confusion, I just didn't type the full name out. You can check out the forum devoted to it and the release thread.
