Hi i'm Ipodzanyman,
as you all know I am developing my first map Republic Dooms Day,
I really need more beta testers, this is open to the public,but if you download please give suggestion/ideas/comments/criticism, etc...

-known problems:
1. the AI are still "dumb"
2.clone commander's cape
3.death regions not added
4.coloring is slightly darker then I wanted , but oh well
5.sides are not even, most of the new side has unlimited firepower, so that will be changed

_please help me by telling where are more bugs....._

Yeah i relly like it...

Edit: I tryed it.
Its very good but you relly need to sort out the bug that makes the soldiers be so dumb. And you can Fly through the rocks that floats in the air.
And i think that you have overpowerd the clones with all the weapons that they got, that is just my upinon.
Oh and one thing you whould be relly cool is if you did so that
Aayla Secura only have one blue saber, like she does in the movies...

It kind of does not make sense that asteroids float in space yet water droplets fall at such a fast pace towards the ground...

The map is really nice. Skins are great too. There are a few issues where scenery is not covered up properly, such as the lava falls (you can see the back) and the second Republic post where from the inside it looks fine, but when you step out and turn around, the wall you were looking at is suddenly gone.

I enjoyed this map, it is what Polis Massa should have been.

As I explained in the last thread, if you explain the rocks floating in terms of electromagnetic properties of the rocks making up the planet, instead of it being a gravitational thing, then both apply. That, and you can always say that this takes place in another universe where the laws of physics are different...

why this is a pretty small d/l for a map, thanks for the feedback, but I do not know how to get THOSE asteroids to have collision.....

-I thought I said that was for the beta just to try the side out, the side is still a WIP.... :wink:

I played it, and it's a vast improvement over the last one, but their's a little further to go before it's ready to be final.

Sides: The republic sniper still has the low-rez version of the shipped sniper. no biggie.

Level: you can wall-hack your way out of the CIS capital ship, and get under the hanger. also, no biggie.
The snipers don't move.

but overall, I was impressed by this new beta version. I'll be rooting all the way for the final version. Keep it up!!

thanks 2_lowiq_clone :D , but does any one know how to get a new cape/cloth working? And what should I do about the asteroids, I really appreciate the feedback people...

-oh and if you notice the skins are better partly due to their new resolution....

Nice work so far Ipodzanyman. This map is really something you have to see for yourself, the screenshots don't really do it justice.

I have to admit though, I see what you mean when you say it's a WIP (the AI mostly).

I have a few of the usual suggestions:
- Could you make a minimap for the final release. I got a little turned around sometimes.
- Add a boundry. I was able to fly off the edge of the map, land, and walk around on nothing! (or is this what you meant by "deathregions"?)
- and the most common of all: adjust the unit count (if possible/reasonable)

About the floating rocks... Are they visible in the editor, or are they randomized (like foliage)? If they are random, then I think you have no choice but to add them in by hand as objects if you want collisions. If they're not random, just add deathregions/damageregions or the common invisible column objects.

-those asteroids are not random, they are hand placed and if you notice, they move around, so I can't exactly place a barrier in all those asteroids....

-I've actually found ai underneath the hangar, thanks if someone can find the wall hack to get under there....

Quite interesting.
I found it rather hard to get into that crashed ship hangar.
I liked all the skins alot and the clones are fun to play as.
There's also the asteroid problem, but I suspect you know about that.
Overall, great map.

I will be planning to put caves and underground routes, but how exactly do I force hole into a side of a mountain to get a tunnel through?
