I'm gonna make a HIGH POLY version for meh turbosquid account.

I don't think this commando droid comes anywhere near the limit, because (I think) a lot of poly's were won by the flat torso, though... Naw, I think it's just fine.

A grenade of some sort. I know, it might be a bit overkill for such a small model, but who cares... :music:

Very nice, take some close ups with wireframe on shaded (it's in the menu that changes view modes for that viewport), that poly count can probably be brought back a bit.

Why not just use XSI Mod Tool? At least then you can have a topology that can be seen since sketchup doesn't show all the edges.

2 reasons; 1: XSI doesn't work on this current comp.
2: I prefer the interface of sketchup.

and what do you mean doesn't show all the edges? it hides them on cicles and semi circles, but that's it.

You can even bring those up by selecting the whole model, clicking with right mouse button on the most smooth round surface, click "smooth edges" and the bring the slider to 0.

EDIT2: Never mind, i got to learn how to envelope etc. etc. and download a version of xsi which works with the pandemic tools.

Very nice, Fai222.

Now for some of my work (yes, I know it's high poly). It's meant to be a Stuka JU-87B Dive Bomber.

Why is it that one of the smallest parts of the model has probably the most polygons? Also, all of those cylinders used can be made into 6 or 8 sided, no need for anything more.

Rotate the parts next to the shoulder, only the side polygons, and place them in the arm as they should be ingame. They'll be rotated back ingame anyway!

Rather than draw lines to create the logo on the side of the ship, just give yourself a small cutaway there (a square instead of the whole shape) and texture the logo in.
