Three odd problems

Post by [TFA]Padawan_Fighter »

Hey...so I made my map and munged it, but I encountered three strange bugs, and I wonder how to fix them.

1: How do I get rid of that annoying blue haze that comes with the default map?

2: At one corner of the map, everything seems to be all stretched. Here's a picture:

3: All my objects are placed at another location for some reason. :?

Here's what it all looks like in ZE:

If one of you has an answer to these problems, I would appreciate that :)

Did you ever resize your map? It MUST be a power of 2, and perfectly square.

Yeah...its 136 x 136.

How do I resize my map after I've already set its dimensions? Sorry if I sound rude, but how do I?

136 is not a power of two. a power of two is like 128,256,512 and you resize in ZE by pressing terrain in the upper right corner and create new terrain.

You can't. You will have to start over. Valid sizes are a power of 2, so 64x64, 128x128, 256x256, etc.

Aw man. Well is there a way to save all my objects? Cause I worked pretty hard on them.

I know that, I was asking how to resize it.

If you put your map back to a standard size you should only lose the work on your terrain.

in order to resize it just do the same thing you did to make it 136x136 but instead change it to a power of 2 and you should be fine also tean is right you won't lose objects but you will lose terrain height and texturing.
