Well friend, make a map is not easy, and it is more difficult when it is a canonical map. I was already working on this a long time and many are expecting, but I want an end to the details that I mentioned. Some previous post I said that it would be published this month, so be it, I hope so. :D

I have problems with my map, when the objetives begins, crash the game!

Yes man, this map is a conquest mode moddified, is a mini-campaing with 12 objetives (originally 10, but i increased to 12). when the units spawn after show the first objetive the game chrash. see my recent topic in Modding forum.

I never doubted that it was hard :) What you are doing is fantatsic and unique, had you must be really skilled to do something like this.
Once I tried to do a map but I couldn'nt even work out how to get a base :faint:

I am just getting really excited thats all

I cant help with the CTD but i think mav could he has made a campaign map before so he might help you out.

Guys, I just fix this little problem with the map to be published.

I was working on some animations for the map and got a ship acclamator landing craft off the field when completing the objectives (otherwise it would be from the beginning of the map and should not be the case). I add a Gunship looking for a player (as in the film) is fun.

Wow man, I can not wait to try this map out. It's going to be one of its kind. May the Force be with you in finishing it!

But uhh... I guess after u fix that, will this map finally be released?

I can't help you with the problem, but it's great to hear that you will release the map soon :D

question:
If I understood it correctly.. The game mode is a coquest-campaign?! Or will you add a normal conquest too? :)

@Nova: dude, be patient, you don't have to pressure him (your words).

@BIG_cookie: I feel it's safe to say that the first version won't have normal conquest, just a conquest-campaign.

This map is definitely going in my addon folder when it comes out! I'll have to delete some stuff though.... But i'll worry about that l8r. Looks great! :thumbs:


P.S. How many modes will this map have? I need to know this because i cant have more than 500 total modes, and I have 499, so if it has 1 mode I don't have to delete maps, but if it has more than 1 i have to delete maps. Thx!

P.P.S. (or whatever it is) gtpwn and browngt

REMEMBER IT!
1. Just make a folder in your addon called inactive, and then you can put all the maps that you like but don't play in there, so that way you don't have to delete and then redownload maps.

2. I don't think you should just post random smileys. It's a little annoying, and I think there's a rule against it.

I do not know, perhaps next week, it all depends how I take to fix this problem not to bother coming at the last minute.

See if someone anything happens, I have published my LUA in the Modding Forum but I had no answers. I do not think I explained well.

The problem is that when the troops are, after starting the first objective then the game stops. I modified this part of my LUA...
change this:

Code: Select all

        AllowAISpawn(ATT, true)
        AllowAISpawn(DEF, true)
to

Code: Select all

        AllowAISpawn(ATT, false)
        AllowAISpawn(DEF, false)
and I do not see any unit but the game continues, I am suspicious of my sides, it may something wrong with them. :?

Yes, apparently the game is interrupted when the units spawn, and if I change my LUA as I said before, then no units appears but the game is not interrupted.

Before working well, that was not what I did to now have this error. It may have been to enable chunks of the Super Battle Droid? Iexplain:

"cis_inf_default_rifleman" (class parent "cis_inf_default") convert to "cis_inf_default_sbd" (class parent "cis_inf_default" enabling sbd chunks).

This was what I did as the tutorial explains.
