I'm getting a bit confused here...So does have you got the modtools to crash yet? Because if so, can you PLEASE post the bfront2.log.

So What I'm Saying is that it's not the modtools; The modtools is fine. It's the Battlefront 2 itself. Because I've tried running it in every compatability mode it offers, and the same crash happens whenever I get to the part where I select my side.lucasfart wrote:I'm getting a bit confused here...So does have you got the modtools to crash yet? Does it make sense?

So you have got it working fine in the modtools? Open the map in the modtools then exit to desktop and copy the bfront2.log here. Please.

Is it possible to do it with a stock map?
Cause that's the map I'm using

Then it's not something wrong with Battlefront 2 itself, it's something wrong with your custom sides.JAWSFreelao wrote:It's the Battlefront 2 itself. Because I've tried running it in every compatability mode it offers, and the same crash happens whenever I get to the part where I select my side.
Unless you tell us what kinds of issues, we can't help you. Sorry about that.JAWSFreelao wrote:Okay, But My Modtools has issues with loading stock maps.

Just try and load the map PLEASE. Then post the log. We're expecting it to not work, otherwise you wouldn't be posting here for help now, would you?

CLARITY PEOPLE! BF2_Modtools.exe is a debugger and when your map crashes it creates a bfront2.log. This log shows any errors that happened and it will tell you whats the matter. clearer?
Edit: What i think he means is the map works in the modtools.exe but not the full game, correct?
