well im trying to change some of the health values for heroes through hexediting. it works great on heroes like han, that already have a specified MaxHealth value in the odf, but for leia, she doesnt have it, so I substituted just 0sfirst, for the part that specifies her skirt, and no crash, but when I copy over han's health stuff into the newly vacated space, it crashes, kinda odd.

All i ever do is add

Maxhealth=500

or whaterver you want the health to be, to the characters odf file and it works, i think.

Yeah, that works, but some people like it difficult

maybe he cant simply edit an odf for getting what he wants?

which kind of file are you hexediting?

Can you hexedit other files in bf2 then msh?

Staff will often change titles so that when people search for something it's easier to find a solution. h4x isn't a commonly searched term.

You can hex edit just about anything. You just have to understand the structure.

im hexing the all.lvl file, and no I cant just rebuild it and add it in the odf, because this is a server mod, at least i dont think I can, maybe though, if so that could save a lot of time.
