lowres playermodel

Post by Anakin »

Hi,

as far as i remember there were a few bones that are missing for lowres models. I tried these two steps to add a lowres for playermodels:

1) poly reduction on the high res, export to own msh, added in the odf file and set the highres skeleton name for SkeletonLowRes
2) remove the skeletonLowRes line

Results:
1) looked so wired
2) looked a bit better but something from the arms or shoulders was stretched to the ground.

I hope someone can point me out, what is important for lowres models :D

Well, these nulls are missing because the animations, which were used for player -lowrez'es, were lower too. Let's say idle, walk and sitting animations were duplicated but only use a few nulls. It was probably not necessary to have detailed animations for characters/units when they are seen from a spot far, far away.
