Ohh yeah, I forgot abotu that.DarthRogueKnight wrote:You never got to use the backhand saber, but it was in the ingame video clips in the Wii version.Valthero wrote:Yeah - they didn't even have the backhanded lightsaber in the Wii! I mean, come on, that's like the symbol of TFU!! I don't care that much for graphics, but the Wii version stinks compared to the 360 or PS3..
EDIT: I also forgot about when your character is just sitting there unmoving for the Wii, he flips his lightsaber around so he's holding it backhand, but once you move or attack, it's back the other way again

That's because it makes it easier for the player since the player holds the Wii remote in a normal postion.Valthero wrote:Ohh yeah, I forgot abotu that.DarthRogueKnight wrote:You never got to use the backhand saber, but it was in the ingame video clips in the Wii version.Valthero wrote:Yeah - they didn't even have the backhanded lightsaber in the Wii! Yeah well, it would be awesome to use the backhand lightsaber, since I can just flick the Wiimote for a three-attack combo..

Re: Force Unleashed Updates... and PC!
As long as the PC gameplay is like the 360/PS3 version, i could care less if the PC version has bad graphics, because the Wii gameplay really dissapointed me after i saw all the developer vids for the game. that and it had bad graphics, but i can live with it

I somehow doubt that the PC version's going to have bad graphics.

You can get a PC game to have 360-ish graphics without ridiculous system requirements.

Assassins Creed PC Version looks much better than the PS3 Version.
So Hebes wrote it.
Its nothing Special to have a Pc running TFU in 360-ish Quality which would be like medium compared to a PC Version.
I think TFU will be playable in Medium Settings with a good Dual Core and a GF-8 Series GFX Card.-cossfingesr-
TFU looks very impressive on the PS3.To run in highest Settings,i think, you need one of the newest Geforce Cards. So your new Pc can handle it for sure

What I'd be worried about more than Graphics is the Engine, can't imagine that runs without good hardware.

Re: Force Unleashed Updates... and PC!
Im worried about that too, Ive got a new graphic card but a pretty old CPU (3.06 GHz HT). But Im pretty sure it will run on my PC since Lucas Arts want to make as much money as possible, therefore the game wont need a high-end PC.

Re: Force Unleashed Updates... and PC!
Sorry for the bump, but I just found out that the PC version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has been out in North America since the sixth? And no has made a post or is even hyped up about it? I know I am but not too much about the minimum system requirements.
You can get it new and at a relatively low price (with free shipping) at Amazon.com.
I hope I'm not the only one who has been this clueless...

Re: Force Unleashed Updates... and PC!
I knew that it had been out, but from what I've seen so far, it's not doing all that well, especially not on the PC. And yes, even beyond the hardware requirements, 24 gigabytes?, seriously? The game's like 12 hours long... needless to say I won't be dishing out 50 bucks for it... 23 gigs... that's just under a fourth of my HD space (I know, 80-ish gigs is pathetic
, but still..).

Hmm, I guess everyone is just sick and tired with this game considering it's been nearly a year, all eager and can't wait to play and picked up a console version of the game. And yeah, 23 to 24 GBs is crazy; I was expecting 7 or less.

I was aware it was out, but I've also heard that it's performance on PC is quite disappointing, even for those who exceed the system requirements. I'll wait and see if I hear anything about the Mac version, but at this point I'm not going to get my hopes up.

I was not aware that this was out...
Now that I look at reviews though, it looks like a cheap port to me. A very poorly done cheap port too...

Re: Force Unleashed Updates... and PC!
Actually, I purchased it on Sunday, and I quite like it. However, that may be because I own the Wii version and I don't have an Xbox or a PS3 to compare graphics. It runs fairly smoothly on my computer (which I purchased in February, so technologically aging computers CAN run it), and I find the gameplay refreshing compared to the Wii's shortage of storyline and level design. I'm assuming if you already have the original game for Xbox or PS3, its not for you. But, if you only have the Wii version, and you want to find out what's so great about this game, I highly recommend it (cuz honestly, I couldn't tell why everyone was so hyped up about it when it came out. The game isn't that great for the Wii).
I haven't even gotten to play the added content yet, lol. But I look forward to it!

the only reason the Wii version was fail was because they took out some important plot devices. but it's still a fun hack 'n' slash

Re: Force Unleashed Updates... and PC!
Lol, yeah, it was. I will admit that the game is probably better for the Wii in terms of controlling everything. In fact, it is easier and more fun to use force powers in the Wii version, but even so, the level setup and lack of crucial parts of the storyline take away from it. I don't know how to explain it, really, but the PC version just seems like it was designed better graphically and in level design. Plus, you're not spending most of your time looking for all 250+ Jedi Holocrons just to see some concept art.
