Re: editing odf files
Open it in note pad.
Beyond that, its all pretty straight forward.

Re: editing odf files
read this to get started on modding and map making, and to find out what you need to get started
1) http://starwarsbattlefront.filefront.co ... rial;46828
once you walk through the tutorial you will have the basics figured out... then download bfbuilder pro (link #2) and go through the tutorial at link 3 to do some quick and easy side mods (including ODFs of course)
2) http://files.filefront.com/BFBuilderPro ... einfo.html
3) http://www.gametoast.com/forums/viewtop ... f=1&t=2068
***FYI*** winrar lets you use pretty much all the functions without a paid for version, you just have to click 'close' every time when that window pops up when you open it. And at no time during modding do you need to take an ODF and "change it back to the rar file" not sure what you mean there... Good Luck
