Primitives vs Meshes For Collision Geometry
I'd just like to know, what are the advantages, it there's any, of using primitives for collision geometry instead of collision meshes?

Collision primitives are significantly less expensive but you can't form complex shapes with them. Collision meshes are more expensive but you can form complex shapes with them. It's generally good practice to use collision primitives primarily and only use collision meshes when necessary.
