Hello, I would like to know what size / format must be the image
and how to change the size with GIMP for the loading screen in his card because I got an error report indicating that the size was wrong: 500/600 (something like that)

Just have it a size of two ( 1x1, 2x2, 4x4, 8x8, 16x16, 32x32, 64x64, 128x128, 256x256, 512x512, 1024x1024, 2048x2048...)
To get that in gimp, open it, make a new page sized for example 512x512 and copy-paste your image in. Then you need to use the scaling tool, which looks like this:
Make the size 512x512 and select ok.
Save and you're done (uncheck RLE Compression of course, do this always when making a new tga)
