Having to munge multiple times

Post by skelltor »

Ok i think i have one of the wierdest errors out there its been a problem for a while and just now i finally decided to ask for help wich i soulde have done long ago.Ok here is my problem i munge nothing is changed in game so i clean than i munge but the lvl sizes are wrong so i munge again and again and again and by about that last munge the file size is right so i play it but there are still some textures missing. (they are in my msh folder it just dident munge them) But i cant munge any more nothing changes so i clean and my process repeates itsself. But the wierd thing is it only happens with new textures i made or have added recently not stock ones. Any ideas of what i should do?

Try reinstalling modtools. Some files might be corrupt.

Or if its only happening in one map, try taking the visualmunge.exe from another map and replace the one thats stuffing up.

Unless you actually messed with the exe or bat files, it's not those. Sounds like a map issue. Do a manual clean as if you stopped a munge some files don't get deleted during a clean. Also if you get any errors whatsoever during the munge don't bother trying the map in-game. Warnings are okay ERRORS are not.

Two things:

1-It's best to keep it all in one topic. Starting a new one makes it sound like a different problem entirely, and nobody knows what you're talking about.
2-Why are you munging all these other worlds like Corsuscant and Bespin?

Whatever is going on, its major. I haven't seen anything like that before.
