Sound tutorials aren't working(solved)

Post by RC-1290 »

they won't get my munge to create the modid.lvl (UTM.lvl), and I follow em exactly. Is it possible that maps can be cursed or soemthing? since the localize also found it very funny to crash on saving, wich resulted in deleting the entire level tree, making it impossible for me to edit the hints at startup and a lot more random stuff.

Localizing takes a long time to save. It may appear crashed, just give it some time. Trust me, as unless you have curropted it (which I doubt) it will work fine, as it isnt tied in to any of the mods other files.

Ah that's better, the localizing works now. Well I think I'll try to redo the whole soundmunge tutorial...I don't understand what I could have done wrong..

[edit]
nope I did everything the tutorials way. no utm.lvl, how can this be!?! PLEASE HELP

[second edit] I'm so *&$^#(&^$)*&#^(*&$^#($& stupid, I followed the tutorial too exact.. I added some "" where they shouldn't be...:S it works now:P

Yeah the sound tutorial can be bothersome. The good thing is once you've done it once, its rather easy to do it again. Just make sure you do all the little things like editing the soundmunge.bat and replacing the munge.bat with rends version. Small stuff like that makes a huge difference when it comes to sound.
