Anyone know how? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm new to modeling.

You may be new to modelling, but you should know there is a FAQ:
http://www.gametoast.com/forums/viewtop ... 36&t=14465

Blender is an option and Milkshape is an alternative option, as far as I know.

You could use sketchup, but you'd still need to run it through Blender or XSI, most of the time losing UV information and getting a messy model in the process, so it's not a real alternative.

Okay, there is another way I know of and thats opening your model first using 3DS, then exporting to vrml97 and using MSHViewer to port it to msh. I think that should work but it depends on what type of obj models your talking about.
