What kind of wireless signal are you using (e.g. Wireless G, Wireless B, etc.)?

Also, what kind of encryption are you using?

Are you running any MAC Address filters that could be blocking your Wii from connecting to the router?

What is the number of the key slot you are using? The Wii will probably only connect if the key is in slot one

Yeah the Wii's picky when it comes to wireless routers. Dunno know why.
ANyways NIntendo said the first online game will still be Pokemon Battle Revolution for the States and Europe. Also check this article out...

It raises so many questions. One Why does the DS get more online love than the Wii? and also will we use our DS's to voicechat on our Wiis?

Would that Nintendo Wifi Connector thingy only work when the PC's on? Or all the time? Cause if that's the case, I'm getting one of those.

Well I FINALLY got my Wii hooked up yesterday (actually my Dad did...) It took pretty much all day

Ah well. I surfed the net, but didn't go to GT

And... Everything's pretty much blocked

I dunno why, but my Dad doesn't think I should have Internet on the Wii. So only when he puts in the PIN code, can I get to it. And he also blocked Wii Email, so bye-bye to that

But I had fun yesterday. 'Downloaded some channels, played WiiCade, and played on the Forecast Channel (Gotta love "Globe"

)

BTW, has anyone heard about My Sims? That looks so cool

And, at EBGames, theres a Trade 3 for 1 Wii Game Free thing going on, so I traded in 3 GCN games (Incredibles, Narnia, and LOTR: Return of the King) for Mario Party 8

But it comes out in May, so...

Yup, all updated. The only real thing blocked is the Internet and Email capabilities... But still. And he's seen the Shop channel. But I don't have any points right now.

Ya know, I never knew this about the Wii, but being able to download old school NES, SNES and N64 games just brought the Wii up bigtime in my book.

My personal list: (Percentage weighted)

Xbox 360 -- 60%
Wii -- 40%
PS2 -- 0%

I honestly have no idea what would possess someone to buy a PS3. So it's the most powerful supposedly? So what, only PS3 exclusive games will utilize that power which means 95% of games will look just like the Wii and 360. And Blu-Ray has not caught on yet. They should have waited to add that on as nobody cares right now. DVDs are fine.

ive seen blu ray on a nice tv it wasnt all that different to me anyways.

In my view Wii is very fun .....just to save time, nothing is hard to setup, no laggy menus, nothing has ever frozen, games are fun and not 55-69$ a piece like xbox360i hope sony and ms takes notes on how to launch a "breakthru" system like Wii! The controllers alone make this system insanely fun! Just watch out for nice furniture near this game system i took out a fan and a wall hanging playing boxing. lolz

I wont even say what i did playing zelda.hahaha

Some members on Youtube have posted Japanese versions of Pokemon Battle Revolution. There's some good music in some maps.

While we don't know what attacks the Pokemon are using exactly, we can guess through their animation effects.

For example, if a Pokemon shakes the ground, its EARTHQUAKE.

There's some great battles especially this one.

Xbox live brought you little kids shouting stuff at you when you were getting beaten in Halo 2.
Now Nintendo allows the same thing to happen but in Pokemon.

You can tell the person is using a DS. Not from the pokemon but because you don't see the cursor.

Ok I just heard from one of my friends that both versions of Twilight Princess are different...that the Gamecube level has more levels than the Wii? Is this true?
