Hello, I started working on my Tie-Mauler again
. I've started texturing the model I had made half a year ago:
So now I started to learn UV mapping and texturing. This is where I am now. Shouldn't take too long to finish.
Release Date: unknown(soon)

Nice! How will you make the weels look like they spin? Or aren't you gonna do that
In that case it's still awesome. The more Imperial vehicles the better

I have no clue XD. Never worked with animated textures before either, so it'll be fun

Pretty snazzy, though the gray could use more detail.

I recommend using the game's textures for as much as possible, like the treads from the CIS snailtank and the pod from the TIE fighter. You might also use parts of the TIE bomber for the grey areas.

To do treads, the tread has to be a separate texture. Take a look at the snail tank odf for the format of the odf call.

thank you
, I'll take a look.

[EDIT] It calls for 'cis_tank_tread_tracks' but this texture is not in the msh folder... any idea's?

There is a cis_tread_tank_track.tga, but that is not called in the odf.

you need to set your view to textured decal cause thatll show you what its gonna look like in game, if you texture it in the open GL mode or any other mode your texture will come out too light cause those other views make your textures look darker.

not 'from'. It is made by him
About that, was it the first time the Tie Mauler was introduced and added to the Star Wars Universe first itme in EAW?
It's neat
It's exactly how it should be (especially compared to your 'level' of all this
) Simple, obvious and the skin is good enough.
What about giving the skin to someone who's more familiar with reskinning?
I think they could add at least some cool details.
