Problem After Export
I've actually had this problem with a few models recently. It seems that any model that I work on for more than a day gets screwed up when I export it. The model itself doesn't, but they turn out half untextured.

How would I fix this? I have the correct textures in the msh's folder.

Re: Problem After Export
I have not. I can't test things ingame, my munge doesn't work right. But this isn't exactly recurring, this only happens with a few models.

Re: Problem After Export
Freeze m? As in freeze the modeling history? I froze the scaling and texture projections. Nothing else. Is that my problem?

Re: Problem After Export
I almost always get this problem on a model that consists of more than one primitive. I always press the freeze & freeze m buttons. Nothing happens. (And sorry if I'm hijacking your thread fluffy).

Are the textures power of two?

Yeah. They're all either 1024x1024, 512x512, 256x256, or in one case 128x512.

Did the textures have any spaces in the filename, or was RLE compression on?Fluffy_the_ic wrote:Yeah. They're all either 1024x1024, 512x512, 256x256, or in one case 128x512.

Re: Problem After Export
If RLE Compression were on, then the msh viewer would crash, I think, and none of the textures have spaces in their names.

Re: Problem After Export
Well you could try putting all those textures into one file and re-uving so it will only need one texture file. Wait, are you using mshex? I'm pretty certain it only supports one texture.
Also try freezing the texture by going to the texture editor thing, (where it shows your texture) and look around at the to where the file, edit .etc things are. one of them will drop down and say freeze. Can't remember which one but it's there

Re: Problem After Export
I found out something about thos-whenever I hexedit transparency, it happens. I don't know why, but it does. And it only happens if I hex transparency onto a custom model. So I think it's just a problem with the msh viewer after all, considering that nothing happened at all when I hexedited transparency onto a stock model.
EDIT: Actually, I think it's related to whether there's an alpha channel on any textures. Which isn't good, considering how many of my models have alpha channels.
