Battlefront II gameplay video - includes Space Sequence LINK

Post by D-nez »

At gamespot there's a preview a couple images and a video preview including gameplay shots using TIEs, Xiwings and Jedi Starfighters. The

The space maps looks pretty open. I hope they are as large as they appear.

PC version will support 64 players which is nice.

Is it for PS2 and Xbox only? Is there a PC version?

Did you notice the lack motion tracker/radar on the Video for both vehicle and on foot gameplay footage? I wonder if this reflect the final game or is purely for testing/demo purposes; the game is still half a year away.

Even the picture above shows the SPD droid sans radar.

Read the forums to find out what we wanted, she said.
Lower the resistance of the shields from the inside, she said.

Woot.

Apart from the AI still looking a little confused about where to go, and characters being in scenarios and time frames they shouldn't really be in, it looks like it's going to be really great. The skies will be full of laser fire and the burning debris of destruction. lol

The fact that you can change classes at the command posts is welcomed. There are times when I choose pilot and couldn't find a vehicle so this would come in handy.

I agree with all those , we need a linux server standalone release in swbf2 so we can gt host non stop!

After watching that video I have no doubt that I'll be buying Battlefront 2.

I hear you clearly on that.

One minute I'll be fighting my way through laser defenses to reach a landing bay and the next I'll be disabling the defenses from the inside. :D

The scope of SWBFII is going to provide so much more game play and entertainment. For a gaming fan it'll be huge and for a Star Wars fan it'll be almost religious. hehe
